I knew I liked Kim Walker for a reason!

My friend Heather left a comment on my previous post suggesting a couple songs to me and one of them was "I Surrender" by Kim Walker. I have never listened to Kim Walker sing a song and not been moved. Even though this song isn't one of the most catchiest songs I've ever heard, I still consider it one that will always be close to my heart now because after listening to it and then looking up the lyrics I'm convinced that it's everything I've been thinking and journaling and praying to the Lord for the past two weeks and will continue to say throughout these next 7 months-- and for the rest of my life for that matter!
Because this song is so special to me now, I wanted to share it:

My favorite parts are the 2nd and 3rd bridges I think because I feel like if my heart were a radio, the message of those lines would be the frequency it'd be tuned in to. Those are such good things to remember all the time-especially in the dry seasons. How many times do we have to keep telling ourselves: "No turning back! You've made up your mind, keep giving it all to Him and trust! His love does make it all worth it!"
It's our anthem in the victorious moments and our motivator during the rough patches.
